The complete C64 music collection Jens-Christian Huus
================================================================================
Editor worktunes in NewPlayer v08.02 - v10.G1, 1988-1989.
Player v10.G1 was the first player to support multiple tunes in the same player
in the editor. This was accomplished by seperating the tunes with FF00 or FE00
endmarks. If you load "ZIPPY.DAT" into the editor you can see how this is done.
================================================================================
ABSTR_1.DAT Abstract.1
Notice the typical leader instrument which I used a lot in
this player version.
CHORD_1.DAT Chord.1
Tune using only two voices.
FIASKO_2.DAT Fiasko #2
This was in fact the first suggestion to the "Oswald" game. I
played the tune to the programmer and graphician of the game
but they didn't like it. They loved the next attempt however,
which is the music you can hear on the game today! :)
KING.DAT King
Slow, "Hiscore"-like song.
MARTIN_4.DAT Martin.4
This tune ought to have been packed and spread. Apart from
using the drumset from the "Batman"-tune, I experimented with
the puls Martin Galway made in the "Rambo" highscore tune.
Notice the melodic changes at 00:41 and 01:12.
MULTI_2.DAT Multivoice.2
Here I experimented with the idea of using arpeggio to simulate
a lot of voices. It doesn't sound too inspiring though...
PSEUDO.DAT Pseudo
Made in the "Oswald" period. Cute little song, isn't it! ;)
If you load this block into the editor you will find three
additional jingles.
ZIPPY.DAT Zippy Race
Conversion of the music from the arcade game of the same name.
It was also known as "Traverse USA". I happened to own an
arcade machine hooked up to an Amiga monitor, and this was one
of the "cards" I had. The first tune is the 2-voice ingame tune,
and the second is the 2-voice "GO!" ditty.
